Elementary Certification

Refugio ISD is accepting application for a Full-time Special Education teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. Certified to teach Special Education grades PK-6.

Secondary Certification

Refugio ISD is accepting applications for an Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Teacher for the 2019-20 school year.

Qualifications are:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

  • Valid teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject level assigned

  • Knowledge of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources courses

  • Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

    Duties include:

  • Supervising the FFA Program

  • Working extended hours

  • Traveling with students

  • Oversight of CATE and FFA budgets

Food Service





SPEECH THERAPIST – For the 2019-2020 school year; Master’s Degree with ASHA licensure and qualified to supervise an assistant, if needed.  Skills needed: knowledge of evaluation instruments and evaluation process, professional report writing skills, meeting timelines, the use of technology applications in the area of speech, and working without direct supervision in the field.  Speech Therapists  develop IEP goals and objectives, participate in or conduct ARDs, evaluate students and provide therapy.  Daytime travel is required between schools.
